WINXP - Shortcut to Activate Screen Saver
This is for those who need a quick way to activate your Screen Saver.
I found out that Locking your System (via the WinLogo Keyboard Shortcut) is NOT the same as activating Screen Saver. Locking your System MAY cause problems with automated functions like Scheduled Tasks or networking.
You need to create a Shortcut to your Screen Saver .SCR file.
See this Screen Saver How-To article. It includes step-by-step instructions and screenshots.
Once you have the Shortcut, you can place it wherever you want, like your Quick Launch Bar where you can activate your Screen Saver with one click.
